amani (Telugu: ఆమని) (born 16 November 1973) is an Indian film actress, in Telugu cinema.[1] She first appeared as actress in a lead role opposite Naresh in the film Jamba Lakidi Pamba, directed by E. V. V. Satyanarayana. The film turned out to be a blockbuster.
She was starred in the film Mister Pellam directed by Bapu[disambiguation needed], which won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Telugu. Her performance in this film was honored with the Nandi Award for Best Actress.
She was born into a Telugu family and has a brother. She is married to Tamil film producer Hazrath. She started her career doing small roles in films like Aadadhi. She played the role of a vamp in this film. She was paired opposite actors like Nagarjuna, Balakrishna, Krishna, Jagapathi Babu and Kamal Haasan. She won the Nandi Award for Best Actress for the second time for her performance in Subha Sankalpam. After a hiatus of many years, she appeared in the film Aa Naluguru.
