It needs guts to keep such a title. The renowned cameraman of this country with a solid standing in 35 years of career working for 250 films winning two national awards Madhu Ambat has written story, screenplay, dialogues and taking it up for direction. It is titled as 'Death of Madhu Ambat'. The film opens with a requiem and unfolds various philosophical thoughts and looking it very real on screen. This is partly a biographical of the ace cameraman Madhu Ambat.
Mr Madhu Ambat was speaking to this journalist at Green House restaurant at the get together party of Kavitha Lankesh's 'Avva' for which he had done the excellent cinematography.
Many of my friends have told me to change the title of my second directorial venture 'Death of Madhu Ambat' but I am not ready to do it he said showing the script he had prepared in English. This film will go on the floor in 2009 end because Madhu Ambat is busy with some important films. He has just finished the hilarious Hindi film 'Maan Jaaye Mughal E-Azaam' starring Paresh Rawal, Rahul Roy, KK and Mallika Sherawat. He is taking up another interesting film 'Fauz Me Mauz' where a hot sexy girl enters the Army camp.
At the age of 56 years Madhu Ambat is happy and content with his standing in the career. He has done maximum of cinematography for Malayalam films. He has come back to Kannada after 'Thabarana Kathe' that was made in the mid 80's. He is the winner of national award for 'Shringaram' and Sanskrit film 'Adhi Shankaracharya' directed by G.V.Iyer.
