Popular director Blessy had earlier made it clear that his new movie Kalimannu will only feature scenes that will be appropriate for family viewing. The censor board that watched the movie last week didn't go for any major cuts and passed it easily with a U/A certification.
But now it seems that the Film Exhibitors Federation are more worried about screen morality than any other bodies who are assigned for it. Liberty Basheer from the Exhibitors is still stuck on his stand that they will not screen the controversial movie with the delivery scenes unless the controversial scenes are removed from the film. They demand a special preview for the people who are now opposed against the film. A definite highhandedness against a quality director and his product, Blessy has any how now postponed the release of the movie to August 23.'Kalimannu' was earlier planned to be on theatres by the 9th of this month for Ramzan.
