Popular Telugu actor Jagapathy Babu who has acted in Tamil films including the Superstar’s latest film ‘Lingaa’ was in Chennai for the audio release of ‘Selvanthan’ in which he plays the father of the film’s hero Mahesh Babu.’ While addressing the gathering the veteran actor spilled the beans on the character he plays in the Selvaraghavan directed ‘Kaan’ that has Silambarasan as the lead hero.
"I am acting as a RAW officer who has lost his job. My character is a drunkard, chain-smoker and the one that is frustrated with life and always gives a harsh treatment to people around. Most of the dialogues I utter in the film include swear words and I am sure you will hear the beep sounds in most of the dialogues I speak. But I am sure this will be justified by the need to show the character’s frustration and loneliness."
‘Kaan’ reportedly stars Silambarasan in two different getups and one is that of a RAW agent. Tapsee and Catherine Tresa play the lead heroines in this flick that has musical score by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
