Arya, who is currently shooting for Naan Kadavul in Varanasi, had a close shave on Saturday. He fell from a huge temporary shed and escaped with minor injuries.
Speaking to MusicMazaa.com, Arya said, 'I thank Almighty for a lucky escape. Though we sustained injuries, we are thankfully still alive.'
'We were shooting a stunt sequence there. During the stunt sequence, I got pushed and I fell on the pole placed several feet above the ground. I and the stunt artistes fell down on the banks of the Ganges. We sustained minor bruises.'
Arya was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital. After getting first-aid, the actor was back to business in the sets of Naan Kadavul.
Heaping laurels on Bala, Arya says, 'I am thrilled working with such a talented director. He knows one's strength and weaknesses and gets the job done accordingly.'
Arya is optimistic that his career would take a new turn after the release of Naan Kadavul.
'I have a friendly crew, and a director who is ready to teach you the basics of acting. I am absolutely fearless now,' says Arya.
