He is just nine years, but is wielding the mega phone. The boy-wonder is Kishan, son of the assistant commissioner of Sales Tax in Karnataka.
The muhurat of his Tamil venture Sadhanai was held on Monday in the presence of veteran stalwarts like actor-director K Bhagyaraj and producer A L Azhagappan in Chennai.
The film is about the street children who have no other address than the footpaths in India's big cities. The movie features Bollywood star Jackie Shroff besides Kishan himself playing the lead role.
Kishan says, 'When I was six years old, I saw slum children selling newspapers at a traffic signal and I asked my dad why they were not like us. My dad said they did not have parents. I felt very bad and thought I must do something for them'.
On how he prepared himself for the big task at such a young age, Kishan says, 'I read many books on Hollywood and saw DVDs. I had to learn camera angles'.
