Director Bala is busy giving the finishing touches to his Sasikumar-Varalakshmi starrer ‘Thaarai Thappattai’ that deals with the lives of rustic folk arts practitioners. There were reports earlier that Bala’s next is titled as ‘Kootanchoru’ with Vikram and Arya as the protagonists.
Now an entirely different buzz is going around and it seems Bala has approached Arvind Swamy as the solo lead for his next venture and the ‘Thani Oruvan’ star is said to have already given the nod. Bala and Arvind Swamy belong to entirely different school of film making and their coming together is sure to cause a great frenzy among lovers of Tamil cinema.
