Ajith fans eagerly await the release of 'Aegan'. As the trailers suggest, their sought-after star flexes his muscle and go all out to save a girl from the hands of a terrorist gang in the movie.
For Ajith, it has been a roller-coaster ride for his recent release 'Varalaru' managed to make it big at the box - office, while his next 'Aalwar' disappeared from theatres without any trace. His next 'Kireedom', about a youth aspiring to become a cop, too witnessed a big opening but it fizzled out fast.
Thanks to 'Billa', Ajith was back on track. The remake of yesteryear Rajnikanth classic did a good business. Directed by Vishnuvardhan, the movie shot stylishly in Malaysia did leave an impression with his fans.
Now he hopes to repeat the magic with 'Aegan'. It is the debut directorial venture of Raju Sundaram and interestingly Ajith on an undercover operation appears as a college student for a brief period in the movie evoking laughter.
With Nayantara and music composer Yuvashankar Raja in his team, the actor is optimistic of success.
Known for bumper openings, it is no doubt the movie would begin its collections in a grand manner. Can he sustain the momentum is the questions doing rounds. Wait till a few more days........The verdict will be out.
