Tamil actor Vishal Krishna Reddy, who is gearing up for the release of upcoming action-comedy "Pattatthu Yaanai", feels that apart from the chemistry between the lead pair, there should be a fine tuning between the actor and director for the success of a film.
"Good chemistry between a lead pair will result in first-rate performances on screen, while the same between an actor and director will decide the fate of a film. It's important to build good rapport with a director because it helps in developing a successful relationship of-screen as well," Vishal said.
Vishal says he shares great chemistry with Boopathy Pandian, who is the director "Pattatthu Yaanai".
"Boopathy and I have great rapport, and that has helped us to work with ease. Better chemistry with your director never leaves room for misunderstanding. The better the relationship with one's director, improved is the overall output of the film," he added.
Vishal and Boopathy have earlier worked in Tamil action-drama "Malaikottai". This is their second collaboration.
"You could say that the relationship I share with Boopathy brought us back together. I was floored by the script and when he narrated, I became selfish and decided to play the lead in it," he said.
"Pattatthu Yaanai" also features debutant Aishwarya Arjun, Santhanam, Jagan, John Vijay, Ajay, Murali Sharma, Seetha and Manobala.
Produced by S. Michael Rayappan, "Pattatthu Yaanai" is scheduled to release Aug 15.
