Actor Hamsavardhan became a well known face in the Tamil Film Industry after his performance in the film 'Junior, Senior' where he starred alongside Mammootty. After a brief hiatus, he is back again and will perform in two films. Both these films have characters that stray away from the beaten track.
Hamsavardhan will play a slum boy in a film titled 'Guru 2009' to be directed by debutante director Pandian. Hamsavardhan says there is absolutely no connection with Kamal Haasan's 'Guru'.
Another film titled 'Bomman' will see Hamsavardhan play an Assistant Commissioner of police and his job in the film would be hunting down the baddies.
The young actor said recently that actors should change (physically) according to the characters they perform. He said this with obvious reference to the 'world of differences' that exist to the two characters he is going to enact. No words could be more appropriate than these.
Let's hope Hamsavarthan gets these works into action.
