To celebrate Children's day, noted artist Sreethar's six-year-old daughter Saranya Sreethar conducted a painting exhibition at Presidency Club in Chennai on Tuesday. The event was inaugurated by Akshara Kamal Haasan (Kamal's daughter) and Subbulakshmi (actress Gowthami's daughter).
At the exhibition, Saranya displayed her paintings that covered varied themes including nature and images of Lord Ganesha.
Inaugurating the exhibition, both Akshara and Subbulakshmi bought a few paintings.
The celebrities who visited the exhibition included actor Suriya and director Selvaraghavan.
Both Akshara and Subbulakshmi (friends of Saranya) appreciated the art works and urged Saranya to do more in future.
On his part, Suriya blessed the child to come up with more such works in the future and also bought an oil painting of Lord Ganesha put up by Saranya.
