A team of office bearers of the South Indian Artists Association (Nadigar Sangam) met the actor Kamal Haasan at his Alwarpet Residence today and congratulated him for winning the prestigious Chevalier award.
The team included General Secretary Vishal, Treasurer Karthi, Executive members Sriman. Nandha, A.L.Udhaya and Hema Chandran.
Meanwhile, many Kollywood celebrities are making a beeline to the office cum residence of Kamal Haasan at Alwarpet to do the honours for the Chevalier awardee.
Veteran actor Sivakumar along with his sons Suriya and Karthi called on Kamal Haasan. "Kamal Haasan is the living legend who deserves to be honoured with all the awards given across the globe for artists" this what he said about his younger colleague.
Actor Prabhu, the son of Chevalier Sivaji Ganesan who considers Kamal as his elder brother met him along with the crew of his upcoming film 'Meen Kuzhambu Man Paanayum'. Kamal has played a guest role in this film.
Kamal Haasan's long time friend and director K.S.Ravikumar also met Kamal Haasan and congratulated him for winning the Chevalier award.
