'Kulir' ' a film directed by Anita Udeep and produced by N-Viz Entertainment is nearing completion and a December release is on the cards. The end of November would see the film's music album released with fanfare.
'Kulir' has introduced Bobo Sashi as music director and the talented musician has come up with an exiting array of seven songs. This youthful album has been crafted in a meticulous fashion adhering to popular international styles of music such as Hip-Hop, Spanish style music etc.
Director Anita Udeep has come up with an exciting story with loads of fun and frolic centering on the lives and times of school going adolescents. The music has come out with a lot of energy to match the charged up storyline. The album is so full of life that Sony BMG has acquired the distribution rights for it. This in itself speaks volumes about the innate talent of debutant Bobo Sashi. Sony BMG usually acquires rights for albums set to music by the likes of A. R. Rahman and Harris Jayaraj.
A popular hip hop band from Malaysia Boomerangx has performed two songs that feature in the album and actor Simbu has rendered his voice for a song called 'Manasellam'. This refreshing song has all the makings of another 'Loosu Penne' with music lovers.
Says a happy Anita Udeep, 'All seven songs are great to listen to and go very well with the mood of the film. Bobo Sashi has been simply fantastic and will certainly make a mark for himself in Tamil Cinema'.
An innovative approach has been made as far as the lyrics of the album are concerned. Lyric writers of famous bands in Chennai have been roped for a song each. Purple Patch, an all-girls' band has come up with the lyrics for one song. Pa Vijay and V. Illango have also been part of the lyrics team.
Kulir's music album comes across as a splash of youthful vibrancy and the songs 'Boom', Hip Hop Hurray' and 'Manasellam' are sure to be big time chart busters.
The music album launch which is slated to happen by the end of November would have Simbu on stage singing the number 'Manasellam'.
