Producer Dhayanidhi Alagiri, who is producing Mankatha, starring Ajith has said that he intends to hold a function for the film’s audio launch only if the star agrees to participate. It is common knowledge in Kollywood that Ajith never shows interest in participating in such functions and usually gives them a skip.
Dhayanidhi has said that he will organize a grand audio launch event if Ajith agrees to grace the occasion. Therefore, Mankatha’s music launch now depends on the star.
The producer has also said that the film may hit the screens either on August 12th or 19th 2011.
