Uday Kiran and Meera Jasmine starrer ‘Pen Singam’ shooting is going on at fast face. The movie is being directed by Bala Srirangam’s. The movie is based on the novel written by Tamil Nadu CM M. Karunanidhi.
All the talkie portions of the film have been completed and only two dream songs have been left over. The unit of the film along with the lead pair goes to Switzerland to have a shoot for two songs.
The song starts with the lyrics of Veenail Ezhuvathu Venu Ganama…. That is being penned by Karunanidhi in a very poetic style. Deva is scoring the music for the lyrics of Kalaignar.
Director Bala Srirangam says “Pen Singam will be the most unforgettable film in my life time, because I had got the opportunity to direct a film which is the creation of Kalaignar. He has given his whole effort and motivated me by giving total freedom to direct this film. We have spoken about women’s liberation very strongly in this film laced with commercial elements.”
Meera Jasmine opposite Uday Kiran in the film is playing the role of a police officer.The movie has Radha Ravi, Thalaivasal Vijay, Vivek, Riteesh, Ramba, Mohini and Vaagai Chandrasekaran in the main roles.
