Meera Vasudevan carved a niche for herself doing versatile roles in Tamil and Malayalam. After a brief sojourn, she is back to do her best in Kollywood. Blushing with joy following the succes of 'Thoda Pyra Thoda Magic' alongside Arbaaz Khan in Hindi, Meera Vasudevan is now eagerly awaiting the release of her next Tamil ventures 'Kathi Kappal'.
Directed by Dinesh Selvaraj, an associate of Manirathinam, the movie is heroine-centric with Meera playing the wife of a doctor, who lives in forest brigand Veerappan's era. 'It is an emotional subject and I have a major scope to play', she says.
Besides she is part of a Malayalam movie 'Gulmohar', directed by Jayaraj. Says Meera, ' I am happy at where I stand. People appreciate me for my acting skills. I am confident that I can make a big impact in Kollywood'.
Busy shuttling between Mumbai, Thiruvananthapuram and Chennai, Meera says, ' I am ready to do movies where I have a major scope to perform. Though it is very rare to come across such scripts, I confident that such movies will become rampant in the coming days'.
Keen to do good clean entertainers, she says, 'My passion is acting and I will be here to prove a point'.
