Mohan has many hits under his belt. The man, who was churning out hits after hits in eighties, disappeared suddenly. He promptly turned down many offers to act in sundry roles as brother or uncle. He has been keeping aloof since no offer attracted him to make a comeback.
Director GK, however, has convinced him to appear before the camera after a long gap. The story of 'Sutta Pazham' inspired the once successful hero and hence he has decided to shed his self imposed exile. He gave a tough time to the director before accepting the offer. He went through the script many times before making up his mind.
So, what is so special about 'Sutta Pazham', which impressed Mohan to reenter the field after a long hiatus? The story is a comedy thriller, informs the director. Mohan, the protagonist, is wrongly accused of serial killing and is hunted by the police. He tries hard to find the real culprits to get himself cleared of the charges. Suba Punja plays his pair in the film.
'Mohan's films are known for their musical excellence and 'Sutta Pazham' will not be an exception', says GK.
Though the movie revolves around crime subject, 'Sutta Pazham' has a strong comedy element. GK has handled the police seriously in his previous film 'Perisu', depicting the life of a dreaded dada Veeramani of Ayodhi Kuppam. In 'Sutta Pazham', he has handled the police in a lighter vein.
'Sutta Pazham' is getting ready to entertain the audience as a comedy thriller.
