Vijay Antony has denied reports appeared in a section of the media saying he was not accepting many offers to score music these days as he had decided to don the greasepaint by playing the lead role in a film.
“It is true that I am going to act. But this can’t stop me from scoring music. The musician in me is the real Vijay Antony and he would never die for any reason. No matter how many films I am acting in, I would never quit music,” he says.
Claiming that he was badly hurt by such rumours, Vijay Antony adds, “For me, bidding adieu to music equals to committing suicide. So there is no question of parting ways with my passion for the sake of acting.”
On sharing the work with G V Prakash Kumar for ‘Angadi Theru’, he says, “Prakash is my good friend. So there is no hesitation at my side when I was told that we both would be working for the film directed by Vasantha Balan.”
