Rumors were abuzz for the past few days that Bhavana has been given the boot from Naan Kadavul. The movie directed by Bala features Arya in the lead role.
Though a couple of scenes were shot featuring Bhavana, it was rumored that the director wanted to replace the actress. Search was reportedly on for an alternative.
Sources close to Bala say they have now officially replaced Bhavana with another actress.
According to them, up-an-coming Malayalam actress Parvathy, who played a prominent role in the recent Malayalam hit Notebooks, will be cast as the heroine.
Meenakshi of Karuppasamy Kuthagaitharar was also considered for the role.
Parvathy should be happy to make her debut in Tamil through Bala.
Meanwhile, the producer Thenappan has walked out of Naan Kadavul, and now a new producer Sreenivasan has stepped in.
Looks like Naan Kadavul will see many changes before it reaches the theatre.
