Parattai Engira Azhagu Sundaram will hit the screens on 26 April.
The movie is a remake of Kannada blockbuster Jogi and features Dhanush opposite Meera Jasmine. National award winner Archana plays Dhanush's mother.
Says Suresh Krissna, 'The story and screenplay are the backbone of this film. I ensured that the originality is not in the movie. Dhanush was co-operative and did his job well. Fortunately everything fell into place. All the people around me supported well. But for their co-operation, the movie could not have been completed'.
On his part, Dhanush says, ''People started to compare me with my father-in-law (Rajinikanth). He is a seasoned artiste and has achieved a lot. I am just an amateur. However with expectations soaring high, I want to live up to them'.
With all post production works too completed, Parattai is ready to enthrall film-buffs this weekend.
