Former State Assembly Speaker and senior AIADMK leader K Kalimuthu is now going the Karunanidhi way. Taking a break from active politics, the busy politician is set to pen the dialogues for a movie being made on Pasumpon Muthuramalinga Thevar.
Vengai Marban, son of Kalimuthu, will direct the movie titled Pasumpon Muthuramalinga Thevar.
Besides wielding the megaphone, he would also play the title role in the movie. The movie would also feature Nasser, Parthiban, Ramki, Manivannan, Radha Ravi and S S Chandran among others. Ilayaraja would score music for the movie.
Says Vengai Marban, 'I did extensive research to direct the movie. Gathered all the materials with utmost care. A popular actor will play the role of Nethaji Subash Chandra Bose and a prominent heroine in Tamil film industry would be part of the movie. Shooting will begin next week and the movie would be completed in seven months', he adds.
Vengai Marban was a former associate of director Mahendran.
