Awesome Asin has made it to the cover of the highly prestigious fashion magazine Vogue. She now has the privileged distinction of being the first South Indian actress to be featured with an attractive photo shoot adorned with gorgeous outfits.
An excited Asin said, 'the shoot with Vogue was really exciting. This was the very first time I shot with a fashion magazine and I had loads of fun. The clothes are simply amazing. Especially the pink dress by Valentino'.that was my favorite'.
She also added that most actors don't like posing for still photography, but she had a whale of a time. 'I felt very comfortable and I enjoyed the clothes'.
Asin is debuting in Hindi with Aamir Khan's 'Ghajini' ' the remake of a Tamil film with the same name. She is probably the luckiest actress today especially with her exquisite photographs in Vogue magazine as a prelude to the movie's release.
An ecstatic Asin launched the July issue of Vogue at Landmark in Spencer Plaza in Chennai recently.
The editor of Vogue India Priya Tanna said, 'Asin was the unanimous choice for the cover. We look to feature upcoming international talent on Vogue. She has this very unique ethereal Indian beauty and she could carry herself off very well in different brands'.
