Director Jayam Raja's 'Santhosh Subramaniyam', starring Jayam Ravi and Genelia, is shaping up very well with some innovative film-making. It has some beautifully shot songs, which could be among the film's high points.
A couple of songs have been shot in the South Island of New Zealand, on the way from Christchurch to Queensland. The biggest advantage in shooting in New Zealand, as far as the film's crew is concerned, that they had 16 hours of sunlight on any given day. Some sequences were shot around 9.30 p.m. under blazing sunlight. The picturesque and scenic locales of New Zealand are sure to be the crowd-pullers when the movie releases.
There is a song that takes place in Premjis marriage. Vivega has written the lyrics, which deal with a debate between father and son. Vivega has put the whole thing in simple yet meaningful words, which could be appreciated by all age groups. The song, shot in temples in and around Kumbakonam, comes with the tag line: "Love makes Life Beautiful".
'Santhosh Subramaniyam' is gearing up for April second week release.
