Cautious about choosing her roles is Shreya Reddy.
The 'Thimiru' girl, whose role with the negative shades has taken her to great heights, is keen on a consolidation mode.
Happy at the audience response for the movie, Shreya says, 'Congratulatory messages have been pouring from various quarters for my performance in the movie. I am thankful to director Tarun Gopi and Vishal for it'.
Going further she says, 'People around me were a bit apprehensive. They cautioned me against playing the second heroine. So when Thimiru came, I was a little doubtful about the role. But director Tarun Gopi and hero Vishal had tremendous faith in me. It wasn't easy to essay such an intense character. For me, Easwari was a different sensibility altogether, so I had to tune myself to the role. I was literally bleeding in some of the violent scenes.'
Shreya, with a string of hits in Malayalam, is hoping to balance her career in both Malayalam and Tamil.
'I am keen to do meaningful films and ensure a longer stay in the industry,' she says.
Hope she realizes her dreams.
