Sithara is one actress who surprised a lot of Malayalees with her instant popularity in other language films especially Tamil. Certainly the forerunner of present day heroines who make it big in Tamil and Telugu, she maintained her popularity in other languages for half a decade, particularly in the early nineties.
After a gap of a few years, the actress has now planned to make a come back to cinema. ''Mirgam'' fame Sami's new flick will feature her in a prominent role as the heroine to Raj Kiran. Sithara will face the camera for this movie, from the first week of September. The movie will feature Aadi and Sreedevika in lead roles.
Sithara also seems to have plans to make a comeback to Malayalam films. However her new innings would involve a lot of mature roles.
