After 25 years, director Shankar brings Suman to Tamil screen with Sivaji. Suman, a soft-romantic hero of Tamil cinema in early 80s will take on Rajinikanth in Sivaji.
He plays Adhiseshan, an underworld in the movie.
A happy Suman says, 'After 25 years, I am back on Kollywood. I thank Rajinikanth and Shankar for giving me this rare opportunity. Once I was assigned to do the lead role, Rajinikanth called me personally and encouraged me to give my best in the film'.
Suman says and adds, 'Interestingly, my last film in Tamil was Thee along side Rajnikanth'.
Having established a name for himself in Tollywood, Suman says, 'My role in Sivaji is quite different. Adhiseshan has a major role to play in the movie. All credit should go to Shankar. He briefed me on what should I do to get the best out of me on the screen'.
On Rajinikanth, Suman says, 'I was surprised to see a great human being like Rajinikanth. He was simple, straight forward and honest, the same as he was a couple of decades ago. Success has not changed his individuality. His sincerity and dedication bowled me'.
