Superstar Rajinikanth’s Kabali is planned for a grand release not just in India, but also worldwide. The screen count in countries like United States, Malaysia, Singapore, London, France is massive, which is a first time of sort for a Tamil film.
Unfortunately, it looks like the Cineplex theatre giant in Greater Toronto Area in Canada will not release the film. The theatre authorities have decided not to release any Tamil film, following suspicious attacks during the release of Theri in the month of April. It is told that there were attacks at three different screens of Cineplex’s in Mississauga, Scarborough and Brampton. As a result, Cineplex has decided not to screen Kabali in spite of its high anticipation.
The case is currently under investigation and the authorities do not want to comment much about the issue. But Rajinikanth’s fans and people around Greater Toronto Area, Canada would surely be disappointed with this.
