Like previous year, Surya celebrated his birthday on the shooting sets. This time, the actor was busy filming for his upcoming movie Maatraan and he celebrated his 36th birthday with the film unit.
KV Anand and Kalpathi S Agoram brought a special cake on Surya's birthday. The Ghajini star, who was expecting this surprise, cut the cake and thanked the whole team. His co-star in Maatran Kajal Aggarwal, writer Subha and others were also present. The actor spent his major part of his day on the sets. It may be recalled that Surya celebrated his last birthday at 7 Aum Arivu sets.
Surya's much-hyped Maatraan finally took off after being in the news for close to six months on July 22, a day before the actor’s birthday. The movie, which is produced by AGS Entertainment also features Prakash Raj and Vivek in the key roles. The movie is the coming together of the Ayan superhit combination of KV Anand and the actor.
