Susi Ganesan's comeback film Thiruttu Payalae completed 100 days on Saturday.
However it did not bring joy to the director. The reason being a allegation leveled against him by a debutant director Raghavendra that the reward by Susi Ganesan to an estranged couple after they united only after seeing his Thiruttu Payalae, was just a publicity gimmick and they were no original couples.
An agitated Susi Ganesan met the media persons in Chennai on Saturday. He stated that it was not publicity gimmick and his intentions were genuine.
The controversial couple was also present on the occasion and they threatened to take legal action against Raghavendra for spreading false news against them.
The industry also feels that Susi too much of a gentleman to indulge in such cheap tricks.
Susi, a former engineer, makes sensitive and sensible movies, away from the clutter and clamor of commercial potboilers.
