After a long delay, Praveen Kanth's Thullal has managed to see the light of the day.
Taking cue from the likes of Cheran and S J Suryah, Praveen Kanth has tried his hand at playing the hero. Praveen Kanth, who had directed films like Ratchagan, Jodi and Star before, has opted to play an anti hero. The rib-tickling comedy by Vivekh is the major part in the film.
Donning the role of a playboy, Praveen seduces Gurlin Chopra by portraying himself as a true lover. With the attempts made by Gurlin's friend Sonika to stop Praveen proving futile, series of events lead even Sonika to fall in Praveen's dragnet.
Sonika marries Praveen, but with a promise that he should not touch her until she gives him the permission. Sequence of events results in Sonika decides to divorce Praveen Kanth. The latter gets reformed.
Now enters Gurlin. What happens then forms an interesting climax. Praveen has utilized the opportunity well. Vivekh's comedy comes as a sigh of relief in Thullal.
