The up-and-coming Tamanna is fast rising to glory in Kollywood. Though she had a miserable debut in 'Kedi', she managed to settle down thanks to Balaji Sakthivel's 'Kallori'.
Though 'Kallori' did not do well at the box-office, she managed to win critical acclaims for her role. Now she is busy doing movies including 'Ayan' opposite Suriya, 'Padikathavan' with Dhanush, 'Anandha Thandavam' and 'Netru Indru Naalai' with Ravikrishna. She is flooded with a couple more big offers in Tamil.
The young actress has given the likes of Nayantara, Trisha and Asin a run for their money.
Says Tamanna, 'I am here to stay. I am thankful to one and all, who are keeping faith in me and giving me good characters'.
On working with Suriya in 'Ayan', she says, 'acting opposite a talented actor like Suriya in a movie to be produced by AVM which has worked with stalwarts in the industry is indeed a great joy'.
She says, 'I am great fan of Suriya. I've watched his movies, including 'Ghajini'. Anand did an excellent job behind the lens in 'Sivaji'. I am confident that he would project me in a different manner in his film'.
'I think I have just made a right beginning and there is a long way to go still ', she says.
