After completing the first schedule in Europe, team Thala 57 is on a break at the moment. They are expected to resume shoot in Hyderabad in a week’s time. Reports say that Ajith Kumar is expected to sport a different makeover compared to the one he had donned in the previous schedule. Ajith was spotted wearing an Interpol officer's costume in one of the leaked photos taken during the first schedule.

There have been so many talks about who is going to be the main antagonist in Thala 57 but it looks like the team has not taken a final call on this. We are told that there are talks with a few Tollywood and Bollywood stars.
Though the villain has not been finalized yet, antagonist build-up scenes have been shot in the last schedule. Reports suggest that the first look poster of the film will be released for Pongal 2017 while the film’s theatrical release is likely to happen in the month of May.
