Despite its growing maturity, Tamil films of recent vintage have rarely been multi-starrers. At best there have been sporadic two-hero movies.
But perhaps making a change into this will be 'Anjathey', which was originally named 'Aruvathu Sinam'.
Directed by Misskin, the film is his second effort after the critically and commercially successful 'Chithiram Pesuthadi'.
'Anjathey' stars Misskin's Tamil find Narain, the thinking actor Prasanna and a newcomer Ajmal including director Agathiyan's daughter Vijayalakshmi.
This action adventure promises edge of the seat excitement with its fast-paced narration. Produced by Hitesh Jabak, who produced 'Naan Avanillai', the film will be full of action and events of the kind that Ram Gopal Verma is famous for.
Narain is playing a hardened cop and is looking the part of it by reducing weight and extra fad.
