As 'Theri' is still running successfully at the box office, Ilayathalapathy Vijay has started shooting for his landmark 60th film directed by Bharathan of 'Azhagiya Tamil Magan' fame.
The shooting of the film started in the first week of May in Chennai. Now the team has completed a good chunk in a long one month scheduled and the first schedule has been wrapped up yesterday. The next schedule has been planned to start from Juen 4.
Vijay reportedly plays dual roles in the film and parts of the story is set in Thirunelveli. One of the two characters played by Vijay will be speaking in the Nellai dialect. Keerthy Suresh is the lead heroine of the film. Jagapati Babu and Daniel Balaji are lead villains. Sathish, Sriman, Y.Gee.Mahendra Aadukalam Naren and many others play supporting roles. Santhosh Narayanan is working on the musical score.
'Vijay 60' is being produced by the prestigious Vijaya Productions banner.
