Ilayathalapathy Vijay's 'Theri' that released as a grand Tamil New Year Treat in April has been continuing its merry run in Chennai box office. In its seventh weekend in Chennai box office, the film had been screened for 33 shows in eight theaters across Chennai, which is a remarkable feet at a time when even super hit film are removed from theaters within two or three weeks.
The above mentioned number of shows and theaters in Chennai have had an average of 85% occupancy in the weekend, which again proves that the film directed by Atlee is still favoured by family audience and children. The film has collected Rs.6,58,880 in this weekend.
The total collections of 'Theri' at Chennai box office has been Rs.11,23,81,765 in the period April 14 to May 22 which makes it the film with highest ever collections at Chennai box office.
