Dharan is considered to be a wonderful talent in the world of Tamil film music. He had rendered some wonderful tunes in the film 'Sivi' and is projected as a leading contender among young musicians in the coming years.
According to sources, Dharan had wanted to feature the voices of Yuvan Shankar Raja and A. R. Rahman in his songs. With this view, the young music director had approached Yuvan to sing for a song in 'Sivi' but things did not materialize.
Dharan has now got an opportunity to compose music for the second film of Shantanoo (son of K. Bhagayaraj), 'Puthiya Vaarpugal'. Interestingly when approached again Yuvan had consented to lend his voice. The song will be a duet and the female voice accompanying Yuvan's would be Shreya Goshal. Incidentally, Yuvan has sung only in solo songs hitherto and so this one would be his first duet.
'Puthiya Vaarpugal' has five songs in its music album.
