24 featuring the supremely talented Suriya and the cute smile queen Samantha has opened with good reviews and the film has become talk of the south industry. Despite heavy competition the film is performing well in Tollywood.
The science fiction movie which is helmed by Vikram Kumar now sets new benchmark. The film has collected more than 100 crs gross worldwide collections. This is the first film for Surya that crossed 100 crs mark and third 100 cr grosser for Samantha. Earlier Samanta has two 100 crs grossers in form of Theri and Kaththi.
24 has minted Rs. 40 crore approximately from Tamil Nadu and the film performed extremely well at Overseas. The film has collected more than ten crores alone in USA and it also crossed $1 Million mark in Malaysia. The film has collected more than 30 crs from overseas. Reports from Kerala reveal the film has touched around Rs 10 crores gross which is a big number.
