Though the NTR (Junior) has many similarities with the late NT Rama Rao and despite he is the son of Harikrishna, the family members of Nandamuri clan never invited him for any of the family functions for reasons best known to them. Of course, it is their personal and family issue.
With the bond between Telugu Desam president N. Chandrababu Naidu and Balakrishna with the marriage of their children, the former chief minister reportedly planned to make use of all the filmi glamour to woo the electorate in the next general elections.
In the process, NTR (junior) is becoming closer to the Nandamuri clan. Balakrishna invited NTR for Srirama Navami festivals held at his house. Likewise, Balakrishna and NTR met at a lunch hosted by Chandrababu Naidu.
In this backdrop, Balakrishna had attended the launch of NTR's latest film under the direction of VV Vinayak and jointly produced by Kodali Nani and Vallabhaneni Vamsimohan.
The muhurat of the film was held at Film Nagar Cultural Club. While Balakrishna gave the clap, SS Rajamouli switched on the camera for the muhurat shot picturised under the honorary direction of K Raghavendra Rao.
It is learnt that there will be two heroines in the film and Trisha and Ileana are being contacted for the purpose. Meanwhile, NTR's 'Kantri' is all set to hit the screen on May 7.
