Gopichand, Chandra Sekhar Yeleti combo Sahasam has hit the big-screens today on July 12 and the film is earning good response from the audiences. The duo earlier teamed for Okkadunnadu and they have come up with action adventure Sahasam with Tapsee as the female lead. The film’s first show has been completed and here is Sahasam public talk.
Gopichand and Tapsee delivered good performances and Shakti Kapoor’s role is superb. He is appropriate for the role. All the cast Narayana Murthy, Ali, Suman did their respective roles well.
Chandrasekhar Yeleti handled the film quite well. The film’s theme is novel but the director hasn’t gone off the plot for incorporating commercial elements and the comedy in the film is situational.
The story moves at slow pace but the visuals are grand and cinematography is another asset. The scenes shot in Ladakh recreating Pakistan locales have come out well. Action sequences needs a special mention which looked quite real. Songs are shot well but a couple of numbers hamper the flow of proceedings. The second half looked bit dragging and editing could have been better in the second half. Production values of SVCC banner are rich.
All in all, Sahasam makes a good watch for those who look out for novel conceptual films. Chandra Sekhar Yeleti’s gripping narration makes you glued to the screens.
