Buoyed by the overwhelming success of Telugu horror-comedy "Raju Gari Gadhi", its director Ohmkar has confirmed that he has plans to work on the sequel. But it may not happen immediately.
"I was prepared to work on the sequel from the beginning. But I didn't want to commit as I wanted to see how 'Raju Gari Gadhi' will be received. Since audiences have lapped it up, I'm thinking of working on the sequel idea," Ohmkar told.
Saying he doesn't want to cash in on the success with a sequel right away, he wants to take time.
"I don't want to do a sequel in a hurry. It will take time and I want it to be that way," he said.
Made on a budget of approximately Rs.3 crore, the film has fetched its makers and distributors three times the investment.
The film features an ensemble cast of Ashwin Babu, Dhanya Balakrishna, Chethan Cheenu, Eshanya and Poorna.
