Raj Kandukuri's name has been ringing in Tollywood since his last offing Pelli Choopulu. The romantic drama made on a shoe-string budget went onto become a blockbuster and raked in over 20 times of its landing cost. Even the film's international box office numbers ( 1.3 Million USD) were highly surprising.
And naturally, the film drew attention of other film industries including Tamil, Hindi.The latest reports have it that producer Raj Kandukuri, film's presenter Suresh Babu have sold all the remake rights in regional languages. Noted Hindi producer Vashu Bhagnani has bought the Hindi remake rights and he will be remaking it with son Jackky Bhagnani reprising Vijay Devarakonda's role in original.
Apparently, Raj has sold to Vashu upon advise of Salman Khan.Whereas, the Tamil remake rights of Pelli Choopulu was bought by Gautam Vasudev Menon. Raj Kandukuri is laughing all the way to the bank as he pocketed fancy price for rights besides the film's BO collections.
