Bahubali, the epic Magnum opus from Telugu filmmaker SS Rajamouli, has gained National and International fame after being made for 3 years with first part releasing last year and second part, slated for a 28th April release next year. The team Bahubali has always been someone trying out new things to give the audience a better experience and catch more and more eyes towards them. They never shied away from failing or getting termed in their attempts and they just tried to improve on it with next trial.
Bahubali team has been one pushing the VR technology in films and they want to be the first to embrace it completely. They see it as the future of the cinema and wants to be the firsts who used it successfully in their promotions and short film. In the beginning, the movie team thought about not taking big break and release the next part within the six to nine months of the release of first part. But with film scheduled for a release in Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam along with Telugu, they chose to shoot the scenes with breaks and release the second part at a date with no big releases planned for two to four weeks after release in Summer.
Slowly, with the ever increasing buzz, Bahubali team decided to release promotional videos like Trailer, Behind the scenes in Virtual Reality. Corresponding to the idea, SS Rajamouli started shooting for the short, Sword of Bahubali in VR today. Bahubali gave Prabhas a unique recognition among the Indian stalwarts like Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan to have a wax statue moulded after him in character. The team also released a teaser for Amazon anime videos about Bahubali with a story written by Rajamouli.
The shooting of the movie has been 95% completed barring two songs involving Prabhas and Anushka. The songs will be completed by December second week and the recent leak event haven’t dettered the confidence of the team in any manner. The movie and the promotional videos will release as planned. The Sword of Bahubali is slated for a January release along with Bahubali 2 Theatrical Trailer.
