Glamour beckoned him from the Yankee land and he dropped in his portfolio to act in Shekhar Kammula's Happy Days. The rest as they is history. His looks and his chilled attitude have got him quite a few offers. And like a sensible newcomer, Varun Sandesh signed them all.
Now, can we blame him for not turning down very many as he had offers from some of the most prestigious banners in the industry. The production houses are a dream come true even for established actors, and when Dame Luck knocked on Varun Sandesh's door, he was smart enough to let her in with arms wide open.
He is a busy boy for two years as he has more or less six films lined up. For starters, there is Dil Raju's film Kotta Bangaru Lokam, which could be releasing on June 14. Then there is Pellivari Illu with MS Raju's Sumanth Arts. Another movie that has been confirmed and will soon go on the floors is being made under the AVM banner. Shankar Marthand, who is the younger brother of ace editor Martand K Venkatesh, will be making his debut as a director with this film.
There are two other films for which the makers are in parleys with Varun. One is Manyam Entertainments' movie which could be finalized soon and then there is Sagam Naga Ashok Kumar's film that Shekhar Kammula would be directing. So, it will be about 2010 by the time Varun Sandesh is free once again. Well, that is if he does not many more films along the way!!!
