Dr Ramanaidu Film Studio' built in 33 acres space off the Visakha-Bhimili beach road, by the popular producer Dr Ramanaidu is inaugurated on Sunday 17.8.08 by Dr Y S Rajasekhar Reddy the Honorable Chief Minister of AP.
Speaking on the event the CM announced that Vizag will be turned as a major film-making centre hot tourist destination and efforts are on the way to expand the city with more urban and infrastructure. He also told that a Convention Centre and a Hotel will be constructed by the government in collaboration with a private organization and in association with the tourism department.
He appreciated the effort of Dr Ramanaidu to build a film studio near sea shore in the pleasant city of Vizag. He expressed hope that the studio will help in making good films in the locales and also creates job opportunities.
While speaking in the event Dr Rama Naidu said the prime objective of developing the venture is honor for any person arrives with a script should leave with a print. He also expressed his happiness in constructing a studio in the port city of Vizag.
Dr Rama Naidu disclosed that so far he has invested Rs 10 crore on developing the facilities and laid a road to the hilltop.
Out of 33 acres so far they have developed only 10 acres and they have to go for a long way said the producer/ proprietor. He also planned to invest further up to Rs 20 Crore or more. The facility will be added with a color lab and a five star hotel and provided with modern facilities in the studio, he added further
Hero Venkatesh, Ex-Central Minister Subbharami Reddy, and some distinguished state ministers, MLAs and others were present on the occasion.
