It seems like historical films are finding their way to Aishwarya Rai's door step. Her 'Jodhaa Akbar' will be releasing world wide on February 15 and is directed by Ashutosh Gowariker where Aish plays 'Jodhaa Bhai'.
She is also believed to be doing Sir Ben Kingsley's Taj Mahal.
As she is eagerly expecting her 'Jodhaa Akbar' to release, another new film has found its way to her. This time she might play Princess Yashodhara, wife of Prince Siddharth, who later becomes the renowned Gautham Buddha. The film will be made by Pan Nalin, an NRI. The earlier projects of Nalin include 'Valley of Flowers' that featured Milind Soman.
The Yasodhara story smells money as it is a multi-million dollar project and the film is reportedly being backed by a famous Hollywood producer. Nalin is now in the process of persuading Aishwarya to act as his heroine. During the meeting with Aishwarya he has also divulged his interest on having Abhishek to play the role of Prince Siddharth.
Wow! Now that one is a bonus Aish.
