In an interview to a daily, Arjun Kapoor was quite vocal about the fact that he is not competing with his contemporaries in Bollywood. He says, "Ishaqzaade' was not a safe debut. 'Ki and Ka' or 'Finding Fanny' were also very different choices. So I don't want to be in a rat race, I want to be a part of this turnaround that has happened in the past few years. I think I like the positioning each new actor is maing for himself."
Arjun is happy that every actor today is trying something different. He feels that what SRK did with Fan was commendable, or Ajay with Drishyam, Aamir with Talash but audiences dont remember these films. They talk about films like Action Jackson. The senior actors are doing great work but not getting their due enough."
