Mithoon and Sayeed Quadri hardly need an introduction.
The pair which has given around a dozen musical hits already in films like 'Bas Ek Pal', 'Anwar' and 'The Train', has been roped in as guest composer and lyricist respectively in Abhijeet Sawant's second album 'Junoon'. For the album, the duo has created a song called 'Ek Shaqs' which is highly impressive to say the least.
It is a kind of number which makes you leave everything aside and primarily enjoy the beauty of the song. An excellent track composed for a situation where a man is remembering the one whom he loved and cared for most, 'Ek Shaqs' belongs to the same league as 'Beete Lamhein' [The Train].
While the comparison just ends from the genre point of view, what doesn't end is one's appreciation for Abhijeet Sawant who seems to have grown both as a singer and in personality during last two years. He has done a phenomenal job with not just 'Ek Shaqs' but with each and every song of 'Junoon' which is a gem worthy to be deserved.
Give the album a hearing, you would certainly have a good time humming the songs around!
