Union HRD Minister Smriti Irani got into a Twitter spat with Bihar's Education Minister Ashok Choudhary after the Congress leader addressed her as 'Dear Smriti Iraniji'.
Reminding her about the statement 'New Education Policy will be ready by 2015-end' she made earlier, Ashok Choudhary tweeted, 'Dear @smritiirani ji, when will we get New Education policy..? When will year 2015 end in your calendar..?'.
Soon, Smriti Irani responded, 'Mahilaon Ko 'dear' Keh Ke Kab Se Sambodhit Karne Lage Ashokji?'.
Then, Ashok Choudhary made it clear he have no intention to disrespect but educate. Reminding that professional emails start with 'dear', He asked the Union Minister to answer his query instead of diverting the issue. Later, Mr.Choudhary even clarified that he have no qualms in tendering an apology if Smriti Irani finds the was he addressed her objectionable.
