Duronto Rajshahi defeated Khulna Royal Bengals by six wickets with five balls remaining in the day-night Twenty20 match of the Bangladesh Premier League here at the Shere Bangla National Stadium on Wednesday.
Chasing an easy target of 146, Rajshahi completed its second victory in the tournament.
The main scorers were opener Shahzaib Hasan (52), captain Mushfiqur Rahim (47 not out) and Junaid Siddique (26).
Shahzaib struck six fours and Mushfiqur smashed four boundaries and a six while Junaid hit four fours and a six in 14 balls.
Khulna captain Shakib Al Hasan captured two wickets for 26.
Earlier, Duronto Rajshahi bowlers restricted Khulna Royal Bengals to145 for seven as only allrounder Shakib managed to make 44 after winning the toss and decided to bat first in the twelfth match of the tournament.
He hit five fours and a six in his 26-ball innings as no other batsman could make any significant countribution.
Paceman Abdul Razzaq claimed two wickets for 26.
