At least 5 people have been killed in a suicide car bombing in northwest Pakistan, police officials said.
A Pakistan army spokesman said the attacker detonated the car bomb near a security checkpoint in the Swat district.
This attack comes a day after seven blasts hit Lahore, killing 45 people and injuring over 100.
Pakistan Taliban have claimed responsibility for Friday's blasts. The Taliban struck despite tight security in the army-controlled cantonment area.
It's believed the rise in attacks is in retaliation to Pakistan army's offensive against the Taliban.
More details are awaited.
